Lindsey, who won two individual titles and was part of a winning relay team at the Class 1A state swimming and diving championships, made headlines by setting a national record. In Friday’s preliminaries of the 100-yard breaststroke she had a time of 58.56 seconds, which is a national high school record in that event.

In Saturday’s finals, she won the breaststroke and the 50 freestyle and was a member of the Tigers’ winning 200 medley relay.

Lindsey will continue her swimming career at the University of Minnesota.
