Hermantown Boys Hockey - Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2017

The Hawks, defending state champions in Class 1A, are on a roll as the end of the regular season nears. They extended their winning streak to 21 in a row with a 3-2 overtime victory at Bemidji on Saturday.

Ranked No. 1 in Class 1A, Hermantown lost its season opener to Class 2A defending state champion Wayzata and then tied Lakeville South in the second game. The Hawks are undefeated since then and should be a lock to claim the top seed in the Section 7 playoffs.

Congratulations to Hermantown boys hockey for being this week’s Old Dutch Quality Team of the Week.
