The top-seeded Knights captured their first team wrestling state title last week, defeating Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg, Pierz and Frazee in the Class 1A tournament at Xcel Energy Center.

They finished the season with a record of 34-3, losing only to 2A state champion Kasson-Mantorville, 3A third-place Anoka and a nationally-ranked team from Ohio.

Congratulations to Kenyon-Wanamingo Wrestling for being this week’s Old Dutch Quality Team of the Week.
