Smoke and Fire Chicken Pizza

Ingredients

1 Cup of Old Dutch Restaurante Style Medium Salsa*
1/4 Cup of Barbecue Sauce
1 - 12-inch of Refrigerated Pizza Crust
1 Tablespoon of Olive Oil

1 1/2 Cups of Shredded Smoked Gouda Cheese**

2 Cups of Refrigerated Grilled Chicken Strips, diced
1 Small of Red Onion, thinly sliced
1/4 teaspoon of Cilantro, chopped (optional)

Preparation

  • Pre-Heat oven to 425º F
  • In a small bowl combine the Old Dutch Restaurante Style Salsa and barbecue sauce, set aside.
  • Brush the pizza crust with olive oil and place on a lightly greased baking sheet.  Place in the oven and bake for 5 minutes.
  • Remove the crust from the oven and spread the salsa mixture evenly over the crust.
  • Top with half of the cheese, chicken and onion and top with the remaining cheese.
  • Bake for 10 minutes or until the cheese has melted.  Remove from the oven and sprinkle with cilantro.

  • **Substitute your favorite shredded cheese for the Smoked Gouda cheese for an alternative flavor.
