Tuna Casserole

Tuna Casserole


1 Tablespoon of Butter, melted
1 Small Onion, chopped
1 Small Green Pepper, chopped
2 Tablespoons of Diced Pimientos
1 Can of Condensed Cream of Celery Soup*
2/3 Cup of Milk
1 Tablespoon of Lemon Juice
2 Cans of Tuna, drained

2 Cups of  Old Dutch Original Potato Chips, coarsely crushed(Approximately 3 oz of Potato Chips = 1 Cup)


  • Preheat oven at 350°F.
  • Saute onion and green pepper in the butter for 3 minutes or until tender. Remove from heat.
  • In a medium bowl combine onion, green pepper, pimiento, soup, milk, lemon juice and tuna, set aside.
  • Place 1 cup of the crushed Old Dutch Original Potato Chips in bottom of a 1 1/2 quart lightly buttered casserole dish.
  • Next add the tuna mixture to the casserole dish.
  • Sprinkle remaining Old Dutch Original Potato Chips  on top of mixture.
  • Bake for 30 Minutes.

Recipe Variations

  • *Substitute Cream of Spinach or Cream of Asparagus Soup for the Cream of Celery Soup.
