Breakfast Biscuits

1 lb. of Sausage
8 Eggs
2 Cups of Hashbrowns, cubed or shredded
1 Medium Onion, chopped
1 Cup of Mushrooms, chopped
1 Small Green Pepper, chopped
2 Tablespoons of Old Dutch Mild Cheddar Cheese Dip
1 Cup of Old Dutch Restaurante Mild Salsa*
2 - 8 Count Tubs of Flaky Buscuits **
1/2 Cup of Flour

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large frying pan brown sausage.
  3. After sausage has browned add hashbrowns, onions, peppers, mushrooms.
  4. Simmer 5-10 minutes on medium-high heat, stirring occasionally.
  5. In a medium bowl beat the eggs together and slowly add the egg mixture to the frying pan.
  6. Once the eggs have set add Old Dutch Mild Cheddar Cheese Dip and Old Dutch Restaurante Mild Salsa. Set aside mixture.
  7. Remove biscuits and separate. Take one biscuit at a time, dust with flour and roll out with a rolling pin to about a 5 inch circle.
  8. Next take a heaping Tablespoon of the hashbrown and egg mixture and drop into the center of the biscuit.
  9. Bring up all of the sides of the biscuit to seal the mixture.
  10. Place seam down onto a cookie sheet. Continue until all biscuits have been used.
  11. Place biscuits into the oven and cook for 25 minutes or until biscuits are light golden brown.
  12. Top with Cheddar Cheese or Old Dutch Restaurante Mild Salsa.

*Substitute any of our Old Dutch Restaurante Style Salsas or Quesos for our Old Dutch Restaurante Style Mild Salsa.
**Substitute Flaky Biscuits: for Wheat Tortillas.
