Crispy Pretzel Bars

1 Cup of Sugar
1 Cup of Light Corn Syrup
1/2 Cup of Peanut Butter
5 Cups of Crispy Rice Cereal

2 Cups of Old Dutch Butter Spindles Pretzels*, broken         (Approximately 3 oz of Pretzels = 1 Cup)

1 Cup of Plain Candy-Coated Milk Chocolates Pieces
  • In a large microwavable bowl, combine sugar and corn syrup. Microwave on high for 3 minutes or until sugar is dissolved.
  • Stir in peanut butter until blended.
  • Add the rice cereal, Old Dutch Butter Spindles Pretzel pieces and candy-coated pieces.
  • Stir until coated and well-mixed.
  • Press into a greased 15 x 10 cookie sheet.
  • Let cool and then cut into bars.
  • *Substitute any of our Old Dutch Pretzels for our Old Dutch Butter Spindles Pretzels.
